The cast for Heated Rivalry "continues to grow as a slew of season 1 cast members have set their return for the second season," which will be an adaptation of Rachel Reid's sixth book, The Long Game, a direct sequel to the original Heated Rivalry novel. The new season will also incorporate elements from the fifth book in the "Game Changers" series, Role Model.
Returning alongside Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams are François Arnaud, Robbie G.K., Sophie Nélisse, Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Christina Chang, Dylan Walsh, Callan Potter, Benjamin Roy, and Kamilla Kowal. They join the previously announced Season 2 cast members Justice Smit, Charlie Gillespie, Daniel Diemer, Shaheen Jafargholi, Emily Hampshire, Edvin Ryding, Robert Naylor, Sabrina Jalees, and Priyanka.
From Bell Media's Canadian streamer Crave and HBO Max in the U.S., Heated Rivalry is created by Jacob Tierney, who also serves as writer, director, and an executive producer of the series.
